large sitting area, two bathrooms, clean non-smoking environment
Could use better maintenance on the furniture and amenities!!! Iron kept breaking down and closet lacked hangers!!! A bathrobe would have been nice!!! It's the little things that matter!!!

Our stay was memorable, especially enjoying the spacious deluxe room with its cozy layout. The hotel staff was friendly, and the access to local attractions made it really easy to explore the area with my cousin and kids.
In my children’s opinion, a kids’ playroom would be great.

Had an awesome time with my friends! We checked out AP Plaza and took the Metro to the Maglev for some quick sightseeing. The hotel is super convenient, well-kept, and our room was very comfortable. The breakfast spread was fantastic! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, especially the concierge who helped us with our luggage.
However, one downside was the strange smell that lingered in the bathroom when we first arrived. It wasn't overwhelming but definitely noticeable.

great stay but bathroom needs improvement
The breakfast spread was diverse, offering various options that were truly satisfying. I enjoyed the stunning city view from my room, which added to the overall experience. The staff demonstrated impressive professionalism, promptly addressing any requests I had during my stay.
However, there was a peculiar odor in the bathroom that I found slightly off-putting, detracting from my otherwise pleasant stay.

The Renaissance Shanghai in Pudong has a luxurious vibe and spacious rooms, but the staff's English can be limited. Though the breakfast is good, variety could use improvement, and the gym is well-equipped. However, some smaller details, such as room amenities, were overlooked.
